Accuracy and availability
We aim for clear, evidence-based explanations, but content can contain errors, omit relevant details or become outdated. Research understanding and external resources can change. No assurance is given that every page will be complete, uninterrupted or suitable for a particular operational decision.
These limitations do not exclude rights, duties or liabilities that applicable law does not permit to be excluded. You remain responsible for choosing appropriate official information and qualified advice for decisions with safety, financial or legal consequences.
Illustrations and probabilities
Labelled conceptual illustrations simplify processes and are not event photographs or measured cross-sections. Explanatory uncertainty scales are not live forecast products. Numbers used to demonstrate probability describe an example unless explicitly identified otherwise.

Copyright and other rights in original material remain with their respective owners.
